Two years ago today I decided that I wanted to spend the rest of my life capturing amazing weddings. I had been flown out to Australia and to photograph Tom and Lorelie’s wedding at Lindenderry at Red Hill, which is just south of Melbourne. View the full wedding here.

In the run up to Tom and Lol’s wedding I went on lots of courses and had my head buried in photography books in preparation for capturing their day. While I had captured several weddings before this, being flown to the other side of the world to shoot a wedding meant I really wanted to make sure I did a great job.

Come the wedding day I had made great friends with Tom and Lol and we had the most relaxed fun day. What I loved about the day was the range of emotions, from happiness, to tears and everything else in between. And I was there to capture it all.

Two years later I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Tom and Lol for getting me started in this adventure and the most fulfilling career I could have dreamt of!

This Christmas Tom and Lol will celebrate with their beautiful new daughter, Madeleine – No doubt it won’t be long before I return to Mornington Peninsula soon to take some baby / family photos!
