A lot of couples that choose me to capture their wedding day are really passionate about photography and many have a feeling for the sorts of things they love. If a couple has ideas of what they like I advise them to keep a scrap book of images that resonate with them. In this way the asthetic and ideas they love are really clear and not open to misinterpretation. While my style is my style i.e. visually I shoot in the same way, I always like to ensure that I am tailoring what I capture on the day to the couple.

When Catherine booked me at the Wedding Journal Show last year we hit it off immediately and she had lots of ideas for cool things we could do on her wedding day. I loved shooting her and hubby to be, Gary’s pre-wedding shoot a couple of months ago (view here)  and after the shoot Catherine passed on her wedding mood book or scrap book of ideas and images which she loves. I was blown away by the book, it’s so cool and I just had to share it online.

Check out just a few images of the book below – I’ve blurred the work of other photographers so as not to infringe on their copywrite (which reduces the impact a little, but where it’s blurry just imagine really beautiful images).
