Triona and Dominic were married on December 12^th, with a ceremony at St. Mary’s Church in Derrybeg, and a reception at Harvey’s Point on the shores of Lough Eske.

I started out the day at Triona’s parents’ house in the morning, while my second shooter, Michael Love, was at Dominic’s parents’ house. There were so many touching details, and I loved the bright red bridesmaids dresses.

The wedding ceremony itself was a testament to tradition, because they’d chosen to have the service and speeches spoken in Gaelic. Triona and Dominic are both from a Gaeltacht area of Donegal, and it was wonderful to see them honouring that.

On our way from the service to the venue for the reception, we travelled through a mountain pass. It was a stunning location, and I admit, I was so happy that they decided to stop. I didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to capture them in their finery against this amazing background.

We also stopped off at Bunbeg Beach in Gweedore to get another few amazing shots, and the night ended with fireworks. The day was filled with gorgeous visual moments, and I loved being able to document them.

Dominic & Triona, thank you again for allowing me to be part of this special day for the two of you! Congratulations, and may your futures be bright.
