I was recently approached to do a shoot for Local Brides NI magazine for Ti Amo Bridal in Limavady. Adele from Ti Amo had some wonderful ideas and we were definitely singing off the same hymn sheet in regards to the aesthetic for the shoot.

I wanted to find a location that really stood out and was in line with the ideas we had, and I thought of Drenagh in Limavady. I”ve been lucky to capture Orla and Damien’s engagement at Drenagh Estate and their wedding and also photographed the estate for the lovely wedding coordinator, Cathy, so I knew about the many delights that Drenagh has in store for those who visit!

By the way did anyone else see ‘Don’t Tell the Bride’ where it featured as the dream venue – love DTTB as the cool kids call it!

While the day we shot on was cold, the light was truely magical and our models were brilliant and didn’t mind the cold too much while outside. Inside Drenagh is full of surprises and the welcome was as warm as the fire as I photographed the models in the sumptuous interiors. Adele’s dresses looked wonderful and she did a lovely job on the make-up, with husband Rory from Shine Hairdressing excelling him self with the hair.

I’ve got to say I love doing styled shoots as it’s a chance to experiment and I always have a blast. You can also check out the shoot in Local Brides NI which is on the shelves now!
