There’s probably not a soul in Derry~Londonderry that doesn’t know about the competition I ran to win your wedding photography last year. Karen and Mark were victorious in the competition as they had huge support locally and from abroad.
I had the chance to get to know Karen and Mark a little better at their pre-wedding shoot at DownHill Beach and apart from the fact that it was obvious that the couple were head over heels for each other, I could see that their fun loving nature is why they are so popular.
Karen and her bridesmaids were in fantastic form on the morning of her wedding as they prepared for the day ahead.
Meanwhile my second shooter, Michael Love was on had to capture groom, Mark’s smile as he was surprised by a very cool Mustang that Karen had organised as a surprise.
Throughout the service at St. Eugene’s Cathedral Karen and Mark did not stop smiling. After which we visited some stunning gardens on Judge’s Road for the couple’s photographs before they made their way to The Waterfoot Hotel for their reception.
The same sense of fun continued throughout the evening, especially when it was time for the couple to hit the dance floor for their first dance. Their routine was show stopping, and even the bridal party had a surprise up their sleeves for Karen and Mark as they too had co-ordinated a fun dance to get the party started in style!
