Teachers, Alana and Paul met at a kids Volleyball fixture at his old school and the moment they set eyes on one another they were smitten. On return to school Alana asked her head of department to send her on all other fixtures at Paul’s school so that she could get another glimpse of him! And the rest, as they say is history.
I’ve gotten to know Alana and Paul during their pre-wedding shoot and through another shoot Alana modeled in for my girlfriend, Margaret (who did Alana’s hair for the wedding).
Alana’s house was great craic in the morning and the girls enjoyed some fun banter. Paul and his brother were excitedly waiting at the Church as I met them and my second shooter, Mark Hamill. Tears of joy graced Alana’s face as she made her way up the aisle and Paul beamed with happiness.
After the lovely service the couple made their way to Roe Park Resort for their reception. We had great fun shooting some images on the vintage bus they had hired, before Alana and Paul stole away from the cold March day to celebrate with their friends. The attention to detail was evident and the ball room was tastefully decorated in gorgeous vintage touches. The speeches were brilliant, with the best man’s speech aided with a hilarious slideshow of Alana and Paul of yesteryear. With a beautiful meal enjoyed, the couple took to the dance floor to the Lumineers, ‘Ho Hey’ and their guests weren’t far behind!
The perfect end to a brilliant day for an amazing couple!

Paul cut a dashing figure – love his style.
I loved this idea for their table plan.
Wow!
Paul’s mum made the jam – these little pots are adorable.
The ballroom looked stunning.
