So delighted with my Christmas present this year. Anyone that knows me knows that I am a major coffee nut. In my opinion you literally can’t beat a good cup of coffee. This Christmas we did secret santa and I got my sister Fiona who I bought a voucher for from Natural Touch Treatment Spa on Pump Street in Derry. My other sister, Anne, got me and she had to leave early, so I got to open my secret santa before she left and opened it to find really cool nespresso cups she bought in Brown Thomas. So that let the cat out of the bag and I knew that I was getting a nespresso machine, which I couldn’t be more delighted about! I also had a bit of a Christmas nightmare on Saturday as I dropped my camera bag about 30cm off the ground by mistake. I opened it up and my heart sank – the UV filter on front of my 24-70mm lens had broke and I was panicking thinking that the lens might be damaged. I don’t think it is, but I can’t get the UV filter off as it’s dented a little. It’s crazy because I was just getting quotes for new insurance to cover my gear the other day and I did that kit review and now this happens. Anyway major bummer, but I’ll send to Canon and I just hope the lens isn’t damaged. Fingers crossed.
