2010 was an amazing year for me, so I thought it would be good to go over my favourite things of the year before I get ready to dive into 2011. It would be cool to hear if you agree and to learn about your favourites things of the year.

Favourite Films of 2010

• Inception – Christopher Nolan can do no wrong.
• The Social Network – As a Facebook junkie it was interesting to learn the story behind the site and the film made what could have been boring seem exciting.

Favourite TV of 2010

• Mad Men – love the style of this show.
• The Inbetweeners – the funniest thing on TV.
• The Apprentice – great series.

Guilty TV Pleasure of 2010

• Keeping Up With the Kardashians (I know!)

Favourite Albums / Music of 2010

• Empire State of Mind (either version) – New York is one of my favourite places and I usually spend some time there every year.
• The Script – Science and Faith – this one’s been on repeat as was thier last album.
• The XX – XX – a modern classic.
• Paola Nutini – Sunny Side Up – great summer record.

Favourtie Podcast of 2010

• Kermode and Mayo’s Film Review (BBC) – I love listening to this in the car every week. When I was growing up my family ran a video store and then a cinema, so I am a huge film fan. Start listening and you’ll be saying ‘hello to Jason Isacs’ in no time!

Favourite Blogs of 2010

• Jasmine Star – my favourite wedding photographer – she has been an amazing inspiration to me.
• Chase Jarvis – One of the coolest people on the web if not the planet, period.

Top iPhone / iPad apps of 2010

• Angry Birds – addictive as hell!
• BBC News – on the ipad this is immersive
• Guardian – Great free content
• Twitter – #awesome
• Facebook – the new geo-tagging feature (check in) is set to change the game for many in 2011
• Shazam – hear a track, ‘SHAZAM’ and find out what it is – simples!
