Catherine and Paul clicked when they met. It just fit and they knew from that night that their lives had changed forever.
After getting to know the couple on their pre-wedding shoot at the stunning Markree Castle, I knew their wedding at the Castle was going to be really special. In the morning I captured Catherine’s details and returning from the hairdressers the sense of excitement was palpable. We had fun capturing Catherine with her bridemaids, while my second shooter Ali (From Ali and Laura Photography) caught some images of Paul with his groomsmen at the Waterfoot Hotel.
When Paul set eyes on his bride he beamed and they both looked so happy throughout the gorgeous ceremony. Once wed, they hit the road for the drive to Markree Castle in Sligo. The couple weren’t detered by a spot of rain on arrival and we made our way to the gardens to shoot some photos of them with their bridal party.
Enjoying a mulled wine reception, the couple mingled with their friends and family before they settled in for a gorgeous meal and hilarious and heartfelt speeches. Dinner over, Catherine and Paul hit the dance floor and their first dance was really well co-ordinated. The rest of the guests soon felt inspired and joined them to dance the winter night away!
Catherine looked stunning.
This image feels really editorial – I just love it!
