A few months ago my girlfriend, Margaret mentioned that she’d love to do a styled shoot which was really different from anything we had done before.

Hairstylist, Margaret from Honey Hair & Beauty thought that with the new Superman movie, Man of Steel coming out it would be the perfect time to do a Superman inspired styled wedding shoot and she set about pulling together an amazing creative team to pull off the shoot.

I loved the theme and the colours associated with it and on a Sunday afternoon we came together at the stunning Drenagh Estate to shoot it.

Margaret’s concept was that the theme should be subtle and we were careful it didn’t end up too cheesy, but still irreverent and fun!

Florist, Cheryl Thompson from Flowers & Frills created stunning florals for the shoot.

The make-up by Rosemary Wright was lovely.

Margaret did an amazing job at styling hair for the shoot.

I loved the super fun cake which was designed by Cakes by Miriam!

Annette Hughes from Look Crafty outdone herself styling the shoot.
