I spent the day yesterday at a PPANI (Professional Photographers Association of Northern Ireland) workshop at the amazing Galgorm Manor Hotel. Taking the seminar was Paul Callaghan and he talked a lot about lighting, posing and the things judges look for in competition. It was great to meet-up with other Northern Irish photographers and to discuss our businesses, equipment (geeky I know!), and our love for shooting weddings. There’s so many of the photographers that I look up to and whose work inspires me to continue to push the boundaries in my own work. In the afternoon we had the opportunity to explore the incredible grounds of Galgorm Manor and take photos of the stunning Lucy Evangelista. I think Galgorm Manor has to be one of the best locations for wedding photography in Northern Ireland, the setting is amazing and there’s so many WOW locations to shoot in the grounds. I’ve got a couple of weddings booked for Galgorm Manor and I can’t wait to be back there shooting a real wedding. Check out some of the photos I shot yesterday!
