Growing up we had a caravan in Downings in Donegal and Dearbhala, her sister, Aoife and brother Patrick were childhood friends of me and my brother Conal.

We always had great craic down the caravan each summer and even went on holidays to Portugal at the same time once. We stayed friends and Dearbhala and I ended up at the same university in Edinburgh together and hung out there too.

So when I met her at a bridal fayre last year and she told me about her fab wedding plans with fiance, Niall, I was really excited for them both.

I had a chance to get to know Niall a bit at the Junior Chamber of Commerce’s Nutts Ball before Christmas and I could see that he was a good laugh and that they are a perfect match!

On the day of their pre-wedding shoot, Dearbhala and Niall were pretty laid back and after capturing some fun images of them on Fahan Beach, we headed back to their home nearby to get a couple with their St. Bernards, Molly and Oscar.

I can’t wait for their gorgeous destination wedding in the stunning El Oceano Hotel & Spa, La Cala De Mijas, Spain in June!
