I went to see the new James Bond flick, Skyfall, on Friday night and was blown away. It’s definately my favourtie film of the year, just pipping Dark Knight Rises. Loaded with popcorn, nachos, nuts and malteasers, Margaret and I settled in for the film.

Margaret was not as big of the film as I and it wasn’t long before she had her iphone inside her popcorn trying to see the latest updates on Facebook. Meanwhile I was lost in Bond’s world of espionage.

I loved the first film with Daniel Craig, and thought Quantum of Solace was so so, but from the get go it was clear that Skyfall was going to top the lot. Bringing in Sam Mendes to direct was genius, his action sequences were exhilarating and he allowed the quiet moments enough time to breath.

Make sure to catch Skyfall in the cinema as you’ll not be disappointed.
