Diane & Brian's Redcastle Hotel wedding - Donal Doherty

Diane & Brian were married on Saturday 27th April 2019 during a beautiful ceremony at Moville Presbyterian Church, before hosting their reception at Redcastle Hotel, Donegal.

Before the wedding, the couple told me that they were hoping to create a relaxed and natural style for their wedding day and they definitely achieved this with ease.

I arrived as the bridal preparations were underway, with everyone excited, as the bubbles were popped open and a toast was given to the day ahead.

While hair and make-up set to work, I took some time to capture the many finishing touches. There’s no doubt that so much thought and attention had gone into this wedding, with Diane thinking about everything from matching robes to personalised slippers for her bridesmaids.

Style was very much at the heart of the day, with the bridesmaids donning floor length dusky pink one-shoulder dresses, while Diane opted for a fitted Martina Liana gown with exquisite embellishment. Beautiful bouquets with cream roses and soft pink peonies effortlessly tied everything together.

After the ceremony, we made our way to Redcastle Hotel, stopping in a beautiful woodland for photos of the wedding party. I also stole the happy couple away on their own to the beach, which was the perfect setting for some truly romantic photos.

After the speeches, meals had been eaten and exquisite cake had been cut, guests joined the happy couple on the dance floor and helped them celebrate their wedding day in style.
