Claire and Niall were married on Thursday 30th May 2019, during a ceremony at St. Columba’s, Drung, before hosting their reception at Harvey’s Point, Donegal.
The couple met in a gym in Dublin, on a Tuesday evening in early summer 2015. They both worked in the area and ran into each other a few times, before eventually organising a date. The pair have been inseparable since.
Before their wedding, I asked Claire what she envisioned for the day and she said: “Summer, fresh, clean and romantic”. For me, this instantly conjured images of a modern style wedding and this is exactly what they achieved. Tradition and contemporary styles were combined with oodles of romance, to create a day unlike any other. In particular, I loved the pastel floral archway against the blue door of the church, which proved a perfect spot for photos.
Harvey’s Point is truly stunning with its exceptional service and unrivalled views, so it’s always a pleasure to photograph here. While the weather wasn’t always on our side, it would have been a shame not to use the picturesque backdrop, so we made the most of it, grabbing umbrellas and getting outdoors for photos.
After the speeches, meal and cutting of the cake, guests joined Claire and Niall on the dance floor, to the sounds of The Yetis, to end the night in style.
Congratulations to an amazing couple. Here’s to many years of happiness together.
