I have known Stephanie and her cousin Debbie since we were in our early teens and when Stephanie and Terry booked me to capture their wedding day I was so delighted.

In the morning Stephanie was very relaxed and the atmosphere in the house was laid back as they prepared for the day. Terry and his groomsmen were in a great mood as we shot some fun images of them outside the stunning St Eugene’s Cathedral and on seeing each for the first time the couple looked incredibly happy. The service was heartfelt and really beautiful, with the couple sharing glances and smiles never leaving their faces for the duration. With group shots outside the Cathedral taken, we made our way to the Foyle Hospice for their photos. In lieu of wedding favours Stephanie and Terry made a donation to the hospice and it was a really special place to visit for photos. We were the first to shoot in their newly completed internal garden, which I absolutely loved.

Making our way to the City Hotel, the couple had time to mingle with their guests before sharing a meal and enjoying the speeches with those closest to them. Before the first dance we ducked out to capture some images of the Peace Bridge in the early evening, which was such a nice touch. Taking to the dancefloor, Stephanie and Terry beamed with happiness and joy, excited for the start of the rest of their lives together.

The flowers were really beautiful.
