After shooting Joanna and Simon’s wedding in London earlier this year I was really looking forward to capturing their wedding at Castlegrove Country House Hotel last month. Thier wedding day was a rare thing in Ireland this summer, a gorgeous day and the weather set the scene for the rest of the day.

Joanna and her bridesmaids were relaxed as they readied for the day ahead and I loved her brother’s home, which provided the perfect backdrop for her details and getting ready images. On arriving at the stunning chapel, Simon and the groomsmen were on top form and we had fun shooting a few images before they made their way inside. On seeing each other for the first time it was clear not only the sun was beaming, but Joanna and Simon shone with happiness. Having captured a wedding at Castlegrove a few weeks before, I looked forward to this little gem of a location and I was spoilt for choice as we captured some natural images of the couple together. Joining their guests, the couple enjoyed drinks, a beautiful dinner, great speeches, some blackjack and roulette, and fun dancing as they celebrated their union in style!
