I’m delighted to say I finally had the opportunity to photograph a Cabra Castle wedding.
Brenda and Stephen were married on the 25th of March in a ceremony at St Macartan’s Chapel, Augher, before heading to the stunning Cabra Castle for their reception.
On a lovely spring morning, I arrived when the bridal preparations were underway, which was the perfect opportunity to capture some details shots, before heading to the ceremony.
Cabra Castle is definitely a venue with a difference and the beautiful grounds served as the perfect backdrop for some group shots. I also caught a few quiet moments with the happy couple before the reception got underway.
Brenda and Stephen told me they are fans of my nighttime shots, and so I was devoted to ensuring they were presented with some photos with a difference for their wedding album. And so, we carried out a nighttime shoot, with the stars in the background. It was a perfectly clear night and they braved the chilly night air for it.
I think it was definitely worth it!
