I met Aodheen when we did our Masters in Communication, Advertising and Public Relations at University of Ulster and from there we went on to work together in PR. I was really delighted when she asked me to capture her wedding to fiance, Christopher.

In the morning Aodheen, her bridesmaids and family were laid back and enjoying joking around looking forward to the day ahead. Aodheen looked truely stunning. After making a stop off at her grannys, she set off for the service at the beautiful Saint Mary’s Chapel in Lavey. Christopher and the groomsmen were in great spirits and I had a chance to capture a few images of them before the service. Seeing his bride for the first time Christopher beamed and the couple exchanged smiles throughout the service. We made our way to Lisfannon Beach and then to An Grianan Hotel in Burt, Co. Donegal for their photos and luckily the sun split the March sky.

Photos done, Aodheen and Christopher had a chance to catch-up with their friends as Isobel the pianist played the baby grand. The circular room in An Grianan looked spectacular and guests enjoyed the speeches (with Aodheen nearly getting squirted with a water pistol in retaliation for some childhood misdemeanours!) and a lovely meal. As the band began to play Aodheen and Christopher took to the floor for their first dance, smiling as their bridal party and friends joined them. We made our way outside after a few dances for one final night time shot with An Grianan Hotel in the background. The couple stole a moment together before hitting the dance floor and celebrating the night away with their  guests!
