On Saturday 17th August 2019, Catherine and Philip were married during a gorgeous ceremony at St. Columba’s, Drung, before hosting their reception at the stunning Redcastle Hotel.

The couple met by change as Philip was the taxi driver who took Catherine and a friend home from Buncrana after a night out. The rest as they say, is history. They have a lovely son called Niall and he dutifully carried out his important role of pageboy with ease and Catherine’s son Matthew was on hand as groomsman to make sure all ran to plan.

On a sunny August morning, I arrived as the bridal preparations were in full flow. Everyone was excited about the day ahead, which was even toasted to, with a bottle of bubbles in the garden.

Catherine’s choice of fit and flare lace Ronald Joyce gown with illusion back was a real head turner, while her leading ladies wore purple, embellished dresses. Beautiful bouquets with pops of pastel purples and pinks effortlessly tied everything together.

Philip definitely chose to arrive in style, by rocking up to the chapel in a classic Sheriff police car! Now that’s how it’s done!

After a beautiful ceremony, we made our way to Redcastle Hotel, stopping along the way for photos. After the speeches, meal and cake cutting, guests joined the happy couple on the dance floor to celebrate an amazing day.
