Collections begin at £1,400 which includes two photographers, a full day of wedding coverage and the images to download and print. In a decade of shooting weddings, thankfully that situation has never come up. I always arrive early and make sure I understand the plans before the day. In the event something like that did happen I would endeavour to put in place a replacement photographer of an equivalent style and quality. Alternatively I would return your full investment and allow you to make your own arrangements if you choose to.


Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF DONAL GETS SICK OR HAS SOME SORT OF EMERGENCY BEOFRE THE WEDDING?

In advance of the day I welcome the chance to input into your timeline to ensure you have the most beautiful light and adequate time for everything you want. I approach the wedding day with a full heart and open eyes. Capturing everything from the big moments to the quieter moments in-between in a relaxed way. I also love curated details as they tell a rich story of the day. 

Q: DO YOU OFFER VIDEOGRAPHY?

Typically I arrive 2 1/2 hours before your service to cover bridal preparations and the second shooter will arrive with your partner about an hour before they leave where they're getting ready. For International events we arrive several days before your wedding to acclimatise and scout locations.

Q: DO YOU WORK WITH A SECOND SHOOTER?

For weddings in Northern Ireland and Donegal travel is included and accommodation is not required. Outside of this area and for international destination weddings travel and accommodation is required. When we talk through your plans I can work out how many days are needed and can add this to your collection. I will handle all travel arrangements so you don't need to worry about that at all.

Q: IS TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION INCLUDED YOUR PRICING?

Typically, I curate 70-100 images per hour of coverage. For a wedding with 12 hours coverage expect around 1,000. 

I use all the latest Sony equipment, with backups for everything in the rare event that anything should occur to one of our cameras or lenses on a wedding day.

Q: WHEN WILL YOU ARRIVE TO OUR WEDDING LOCATION?

Yes, I always work with a second shooter. I have a group who are very accomplished and shoot weddings under their own brands. On the day they capture the groom or other bride prep, lots of candid images of guests and any kids present. They not only assist me and you on the day, but they also get a second perspective on the day. Depending on the scale of your event additional shooters can be added to ensure everything is captured.

I put a lot of planning into ensuring your timeline is perfect and I can connect with your wedding planner or co-ordinator to make sure the incredible moments of your day are captured in the best light possible.

Q: HOW DO YOU STAY ON SCHEDULE ON THE DAY?

When you're ready to book you can sign your contract online and pay your £500 booking fee to confirm your date. The final balance is due 30 days before your wedding day.

Q: HOW DO I CONFIRM MY WEDDING DATE?

We are no longer accepting new wedding video bookings. Tom, who used to create wedding films is now working under the We Can Be Heroes brand and he is available for new commissions. He is an amazing wedding videographer and I would highly recommend Tom.

If you choose to add on an album or choose a collection with one included you'll attend a viewing at the studio where you'll view your images for the first time. You're in charge as you choose your album images and I'm there to help. You'll also choose your wedding album options and you can add on any extras you'd like. This viewing can take 3-5 hours depending on how decisive you are :) 

If you live in another country around the world and can't attend a viewing, I provide an online gallery to choose your images at home. Couples who choose at home tell us that narrowing down the images is one of the hardest things they’ve ever done. It’s strongly advised to choose as soon as you can so I can get your album to you.



Q: HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE GET?

I'm passionate about print and want you to have an heirloom to cherish and to pass onto future generations. Being able to hold an album in your hands of the best day of your life is a beautiful experience. 

Q: HOW DO I CHOOSE MY ALBUM IMAGES?

Q: WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH IN CAPTURING THE WEDDING STORY?

The first 55 images are included in your wedding album, this is across 40 pages in our storybook albums and 20 in our luxury albums. Additional images are £15 each in storybooks and £20 in luxury albums. For every 2/3 images we add a couple of pages to your book. Typically people go for 80 - 120 images in their final album and many couples order parent albums. They are smaller copies of their main album, which make great gifts for parents and your bridal party.

Q: HOW MANY IMAGES/PAGES ARE IN OUR ALBUM?

Images for an engagement or portrait session are ready in two weeks and for weddings your images will be ready in around four weeks. 

Q: WHEN WILL MY PHOTOS BE READY?

I start with your immediate family, then add in any partners and kids. Six weeks before your wedding day I send you a questionnaire where you can share all the details of your day and any additional family photos you'd love. I can shoot the family portraits in twenty minutes (if everyone's there) and any additional group shots take a 3-5 minutes each. I would suggest keeping the portraits after the service to a minimum so you have time for your couples portraits and to relax before dinner. In between dinner and dancing we'll have time to get photos with anyone you missed earlier.

Q: DO YOU THINK AN ALBUM IS IMPORTANT?

You'll have a chance to share ideas in the wedding questionnaire I'll send you six weeks before your wedding. I am detail orientated and do my best work capturing your unique day as it unfolds so you can relax there's no need to supply a list.

Q: DO THE PROOFS AND ONLINE GALLERY INCLUDE ALL OF THE IMAGES YOUR TAKE?

I shoot a lot of images on the day, thousands, these are curated down to include the best images, removing any with blinks, unflattering expressions etc. All final images are individually edited and finished before I present them in your online gallery.

Q: WHAT IF IT RAINS?

I have shot weddings in Ireland and around the world for the last decade and it has provided me with the skills to deal with four seasons in one day and how best to shoot in a variety of conditions. With that said, it's great to have a plan B in place. Many venues have great indoor locations that can be a great alternative, but many couples are up for making it work outside if conditions aren't too crazy.

Q: WHAT IF I HAVE TO RESCHEDULE MY WEDDING BECAUSE OF THE PANDEMIC?

The booking fee is non-refundable, so your best option is to reschedule and I'm offering a lot of help to make that as easy as possible.

I'll share my diary of available options with you so you can find a date that suits. Once you find a date that works, I'll move your date free of charge, and if it needs to moved again I'm happy to do that. Your balance can be moved over to your new date and I'm asking if you're in a position to do so to pay 50% of the remaining balance on your original due date.

If you cannot find a date that works I will try and organise a photographer of the same caliber and style to cover your wedding day. I'll do the culling, editing and album design, so you'll still deal with me outside of the wedding day itself. I'll bend over backwards to help you make your dream day a reality.
