QUESTIONS

your

Modern, honest and refined. My approach combines documenting the moments that happen naturally with creating photographs with intention. Real emotion, and pictures that will bring you back in years to come.

Q: CAN I ADD ON A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?

Travel and accommodation are included for weddings anywhere in Ireland. For weddings elsewhere in the UK or abroad, travel and accommodation are added as needed, and I make all the arrangements so you have nothing to organise.

Q: Is travel and accommodation included?

You'll receive around 70 to 100 fully edited images per hour of coverage, chosen to tell the story of the day, from the big moments to the quiet ones in between.

I use all the latest Sony equipment, with backups for everything in the rare event that anything should happen to one of my cameras or lenses on a wedding day.

Q: WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

Q: WHAT FAMILY PHOTOS DO YOU CAPTURE?

Yes. Tell me what you would love for the day and I can build a collection around it.

Yes. You can choose to add a second photographer if you’d like both preparations captured, or additional guest and candid coverage throughout the day. I work with a close group of trusted professionals who each shoot weddings in their own right, so you’ll have complete peace of mind.

Once you've decided I'm the right fit, I'll send a simple online booking form and contract. A booking fee secures your date, and everything is confirmed from there.

Most couples get in touch twelve to eighteen months ahead, and summer and early autumn Saturdays go first. If you have a date in mind, it's worth asking early.

Q: How do we book you?

Yes. You choose your images from your online gallery, and I design the album and send it to you to proof and approve online. You can also come to the studio to select your favourites in person, see cover materials and look at parent albums.

Q: How many images will we receive?

Q: Do you offer albums?

Q: How would you describe your photography style?

Your online gallery will be ready within five weeks of your wedding day. It’s hosted for one year, password-protected, and includes high-resolution downloads you can share and print freely. For engagement or portrait sessions, images are ready in around two weeks.

Q: WHEN WILL MY PHOTOS BE READY?

About six weeks before the wedding, I’ll ask for a list of key family groups. I usually start with immediate family and can include any other combinations you’d love. Family portraits typically take around 20 minutes, so you have plenty of time to enjoy your drinks reception and couple portraits too.

Q: Can I customise a collection?

Q: WHAT IF IT RAINS?

I have photographed weddings in Ireland and around the world since 2009, which means four seasons in one day is familiar territory. It is still worth having a plan B. Most venues have good indoor locations, and plenty of couples are happy to go outside anyway if the weather is not too wild.

I photograph weddings across Ireland, most often in its castles and along its coastline. Castle Leslie, Cabra Castle, Lough Eske Castle, Bellingham Castle, Markree Castle and Kilshane House are venues I return to. I also travel for weddings in the UK and further afield.

Q: Where are you based and do you travel?

Absolutely. For international weddings, I usually arrive a couple of days before to acclimatise, scout locations and meet you in person. This ensures everything runs smoothly and we make the most of the beautiful surroundings.

Q: Do you photograph destination weddings?

Once you’re booked, I’ll guide you through the process from start to finish. About six weeks before your wedding, you’ll receive a detailed questionnaire to share your timeline, family photo requests and any special plans. I can also connect with your planner or co-ordinator to make sure everything flows beautifully on the day.

Q: How do we plan everything before the WEDDING?

Very likely. Since 2009 I have photographed weddings at most venues in Ireland, and there are some I return to regularly: Castle Leslie, Cabra Castle, Lough Eske Castle, Bellingham Castle, Markree Castle and Kilshane House. If your venue is somewhere I have not worked before, I arrive early to walk the grounds and find the light before the day begins.

Q: Have you photographed at our venue?
