Samira and Oliver were married on Friday 21st September 2018 during a beautiful ceremony at St Mary’s Chapel, Clonmany, before they headed to their reception at the Inishowen Gateway Hotel.

What I loved the most about this wedding was the fusion of African and Irish culture, to create an unforgettable day for guests.

The day began at Samira’s house, where hair and make-up worked their magic on the wedding party, affording me some time to shoot some details photos, of which there were plenty.

Samira choose a gorgeous lace and tulle ball gown, while her leading ladies wore beautiful aqua blue embellished dresses, for an amazing pop of colour. Over with the men, traditional suits were finished with green sashes, which displayed the couple’s name.

Following the ceremony, we made our way to Inishowen Gateway Hotel, stopping along the way to capture some photos of the happy couple together.

From beginning to end, the reception was a lovely celebration of the couple’s love and personalities. After the speeches, meal had been eaten and cutting of the cake, Irish dancers entertained guests, before the happy couple enjoyed their first dance to Marvin Gaye’s Stay Together.
