Maria and Philip were married on Saturday 15th December 2018, during a ceremony at Star of the Sea, Desertegney, before hosting their reception at Ballyliffin Lodge.
I love a festive wedding and Maria and Philip’s stunning day definitely delivered.
The happy couple met each other on a night out in Sligo, 7 years ago and the rest is history.
I loved the attention to detail that the pair paid. From gorgeous floral arches to spectacular signage, they really went all out and it didn’t go amiss with guests.
One of the surprises on the day was the A-Team style van that Maria booked to take Philip and his groomsmen to the ceremony. The lads loved it and it looked epic in photos!
Maria’s dress was another surprise. She choose a lace and tulle Essence of Australia ballgown with blush pink underskirt, which really had the wow factor.
After the ceremony, on our way to Ballyliffin Lodge, we stopped for photos of the wedding party and I loved the industrial vibes of the abandoned building.
Following the meal, speeches and cutting of the cake, guests celebrated on the dance floor, to the sounds of The Professionals.
Maria and Philip headed to Tenerife for a mini moon and are looking forward to a trip to Nashville and New York in May 2019.
