Maria and Darren were married on the 4th November 2016 during a beautiful ceremony at the Sacred Heart Church in Omagh. Afterwards, the happy couple hosted their gorgeous wedding reception at Redcastle Hotel.
When I arrived at the house on the morning of the wedding, the bridal preparations were well underway. The champagne was flowing and the girls were in great spirits, looking forward to the day ahead. I used the time to snap some detail shots, which are always a welcome addition to wedding albums. With couples traditionally getting ready separately, it’s nice for them both to get a glimpse into how they each started their day.
Maria choose a stunning Justin Alexander mermaid style gown with fitted lace bodice and full detail skirt. Her choice of accessories perfectly complemented her dress. Her bridesmaids stood by her side in floor length mauve dresses, a colour which was definitely fitting for the season.
Following the ceremony we headed to Redcastle Hotel and used the venue’s stunning grounds for group photos and shots of the happy couple. And with the sun setting, dramatic clouds and sea in the background, we stole a quiet moment to capture some truly special photos.
The day was filled with so many amazing finishing touches and it was evident that Maria and Darren put so much thought and preparation into their day. After the speeches, food had been eaten and cake was cut, all that was left to do was dance the night away on the sparkly dance floor.
A BIG congratulations to Maria and Darren. A couple who are definitely meant to be, wishing you many happy years together.
