Lisa & Martin were married on Wednesday 30th January 2019 during a ceremony at Ballerin Chapel.
There’s something so romantic about an intimate wedding and love was very much the theme of Lisa and Martin’s wedding.
The happy couple met on a Tuesday student night out at The Anchor Bar in Portstewart and they haven’t been separated in 11 years! They were both studying at University of Ulster, Coleraine and shared the same bus and some of the same modules. They united at that time through their love of sharing music on Bluetooth and living their lives through Father Ted quotes.
Initially, they were friends for a few months before realising they had already met on a networking site for new students who were leaving school to join university. It was definitely meant to be!
Wedding preparations began at Lisa’s Granny Susan’s house before we made our way to Ballerin Chapel for the ceremony. Afterwards, guests congregated back at the house for a non-traditional reception, before Lisa and Martin headed to Bishop’s Gate Hotel in Derry.
It was a snowy day which definitely added to the romance of it all, and looked stunning in photos.
Congratulations to a couple who are clearly meant to be together! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness.
