Lesley + Richard // An Grianan Hotel Wedding

A wedding around Christmas can be truly magical and Lesley and Richard’s An Grianan Hotel wedding delivered just that.

Whether it’s the twinkly fairy lights or the anticipation of snow on the ground, I love a December wedding, so I was really looking forward to joining Lesley and Richard for their An Grianan Hotel wedding day.

The happy couple were married on Friday 8th December 2017 in a beautiful ceremony at Banagher Presbyterian Church.

I arrived at the house while the bridal preparations were underway, giving me time to capture some of the amazing finishing touches of the day. It was obvious straight away that so much thought and attention had gone into their wedding, and I was excited about the day ahead.

After the ceremony, we braved the snow (yes, really), for some epic photos. After all, not many couples have snow on their wedding day, and the lightly falling flakes definitely added even more romance to their photos.

We also made use of the venue’s many stunning features indoors, meaning their album is packed full of a variety of shots.

Lesley definitely surprised guests with her change in dress, swapping from a lace and tulle beaded ballgown to a silk dress with exquisite detailing. While the two dresses were very distinct in their silhouettes, both were equally stunning. Plus, the change of dress meant that Lesley could hit the dance floor with ease.

The happy couple began married life with a honeymoon in Iceland.
