Eimear + John's Everglades Hotel wedding day - Donal Doherty

Eimear & John were married on Saturday 9th June in a gorgeous ceremony at St. Theresa’s Church, Sion Mills, before hosting their reception at the Everglades Hotel.

The couple’s modern wedding day these consisted of a stylish pink and grey colour palette, combined with an abundance of gorgeous flowers.

When I arrived with Eimear on the morning of the wedding, the bridal preparations were well underway, giving me time to capture some detail shots. Everyone was in great spirits, excited about the day ahead.

Eimear’s choice of satin mermaid style Essence of Australia gown with embellished waistband was complemented perfectly with a full length veil, while her bridesmaids looked effortlessly stylish in blush pink tea-length dresses. The chosen colour scheme for the day was carried throughout the couple’s choice of beautiful finishing touches.

After the ceremony, we made use of the good weather, capturing some bridal party photos outdoors. l then stole the happy couple away for a few quiet moments together, for some romantic shots on their own.

After this we headed to the Everglades Hotel, where the wedding day celebrations were already in full swing. An amazing highlight of the reception was the gorgeous flower wall, which served as the perfect backdrop for their cake.

After the meal had been eaten, speeches had been delivered and cake had been cut, Eimear and John kicked off the night with their first dance to the sounds of the The Edition, with guests joining them for the rest of the night.

The happy couple enjoyed a well deserved honeymoon in Mexico.
