Claire and Brian were married on the 16th September 2017 in a ceremony at St Patrick’s Church, Dungiven, before heading to the stunning An Grianan Hotel, Co. Donegal for their reception.

I previously photographed Claire’s sister’s wedding a few years ago and so I felt like I already knew the family. This, for me, is a great way to shoot a wedding.

I arrived at Claire’s parents’ house, the venue for the pre-wedding preparations and began by photographing the many gorgeous finishing touches. The house was filled with laughter as the bride and her bridesmaids got ready for what was sure to be an amazing day ahead.

Claire definitely wowed guests in her lace fitted dress by Pronovias, complete with diamante encrusted belt. The bridesmaids stood elegantly by her side in floor length mauve dresses, while bouquets of cream roses tied everything together beautifully.

Following the ceremony, we headed to An Grianan Hotel. We used the venue’s many perfect locations for group and couple photos. Although the weather was a little damp, we worked quickly to ensure we captured some outdoor shots.

After the speeches, meal had been eaten and cake had been cut, all that was left to do was dance the night away!
