Michael and Brid’s wedding on the 17^th of December was definitely a day with a difference from start to finish.

I arrived as the bridal preparations were getting underway (and the pink bubbles were flowing), which gave me plenty of time to capture those all important detail shots. And as Brid and Michael left no stone unturned when it came to the finishing touches, there were plenty to keep me busy.

It was definitely a bridal party with a difference, as Brid donned a lace, three-quarter sleeve ball gown by Mori Lee, while her leading ladies wore floor length sparkly dresses.

The ceremony and reception took place in the stunning Redcastle Hotel, which as always, didn’t disappoint. The sunny winter’s day offered perfect lighting for outdoor shots. The calming sea served as the perfect backdrop to photos, as did the lush greenery of the venue’s grounds.

I’d like to say a big thanks to Brid and Michael for inviting me to photograph their special day. May you have many years of happiness together.
